Following further recommendations made by the Provincial and Federal Governments and health authorities regarding the fast changing COVID-19 pandemic, De Jager Volkenant has escalated our response to this serious situation.

Effective immediately, we have asked our lawyers and most staff to work remotely from home for a period of time. We are aligning ourselves with the recommendations of the Provincial and Federal Governments and health authorities and the steps taken by many businesses and organizations to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Most of our lawyers and staff will be working remotely until April 3 when we will re-assess the situation. At this time, our office will remain open with standard office hours, and a small staff essential to our ongoing operations. We will endeavour to continue to provide the level of professional services that you have come to expect from us.

We will take all necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our lawyers, staff and their families, while continuing to support the needs of our valued clients.

We will continue to monitor the situation daily, and provide further updates as required.

If you need to contact one of our lawyers or staff, please do so by email and/or phone.

  • We have implemented applicable measures recommended by the Federal and Provincial government
  • Face to face meetings will be minimized where possible with an increased reliance on telephone and video conferencing
